Do You Know a British Centenarian? We'd Love to Hear From You.
According to recent figures, the number of people aged 100 and above in the UK has grown by 100% from 8,300 in 2004 to 16,600 in 2024.
Between 2004 and 2024, the total of male individuals reaching 100 has tripled from 910 to 3,100. During the same timeframe, the count of female centenarians increased by nearly 100% from 7,400 to 13,600.
We are keen to hear from centenarians, their loved ones or friends, about what it has been like to live through the past century’s seismic events and shifts.
